Made as part of a group collaboration for a video editing class during my senior year at Purdue University, The Living Gallery presents the viewer with a new, and humorous, way of experiencing their favorite works of art - to live them!
As the project director, I tasked each student to choose two of their favorite works of art from any genre, consider how you would interact with such artworks, and then film the other students performing various actions to be put into the final video. The project was so successful that it is now taught as part of the course curriculum for future classes - encouraging students to find new and interesting ways to partake in the art they love.
